Frequently asked
- What if the weather cancels?
- We will try to re-schedule you to another day. If that doesn't work, we refund you in full. No store credit, no hoops.
- How old do I need to be?
- Drivers must be 18 or older (the Malta legal minimum). You will also confirm you are not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, that you accept liability, and that you have prior experience operating the vessel.
- Do I need a boat licence?
- Only for boats with 115 horsepower or more (115hp 17.5ft, 115hp 19ft, 200hp 20ft). The 40hp, 50hp, 80hp and 90hp boats need no licence, just boating experience.
- Why a 200 euro cash deposit?
- It is a security deposit on the boat itself, refunded in full when you return undamaged. The 20 euro online deposit is separate and confirms your booking.
- Are kids welcome?
- Yes. Most boats take adults plus a child. Children's life jackets in all sizes are provided.
- Which languages do you speak?
- We speak English, Italian and Maltese. The booking site is also in French, German and Polish.
- How does fuel work?
- Jet skis and guided safaris include fuel in the price you see. Self-drive boat rentals are fuel-excluded — you pay fuel in cash at the dock after return, measured against the boat's consumption. Typical fuel spend on a 3-hour boat rental is €20-35, on a 6-hour rental €40-75 depending on boat size and how far you cruise.
- Where do I park?
- Free parking right at Hondoq Bay. Plenty of room.
- What should I bring?
- Towel, swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, water, ID. We provide everything else.
- Where exactly do I meet you?
- Look for the yellow umbrella at Hondoq Bay. We are right there.
- Can I drink on the boat?
- No. We do not rent under the influence and alcohol is not allowed on the boats.
